“Friday 13th” is about male partner rape. R. Flex recounts leaving a former lover in a mentally unstable state. A- Fos produced the track the day of the Paris attacks, hence its title. The song was initially supposed to be a play on Emily Dickinson’s poem “Because I Could Not Stop For Death”.
